My letter from Dawn

I too had a letter from my friend, Dawn, like Dave and share it with you below:

Hello,

I’ve got some very good news indeed.

In the hour after the New Years Day Vicar of Dibley programme, over 11,000 emails were sent to Tony Blair – and the figure has been rising rapidly ever since!

The Tsunami tragedy in Asia has put the desperate plight of the world’s poorest people under the political spotlight like never before and the next twelve months is THE chance to make the world we live in a fairer place for everyone.

The next step is just around the corner – the finance ministers from the world’s seven richest countries are to hold talks in London at the beginning of February. We will be in touch very soon to ask for your help to make it one of the most important meetings in history.

Love

Dawn

p.s some more great news – Nelson Mandela has just taken up our invite to visit the UK to lend his weight to the Make Poverty History campaign. Watch this space for more info…
